SUMMARY:Meditation: An Introduction
DESCRIPTION:Meditation is a useful tool both for magical practice and 
 helping to lead a healthy lifestyle.\n\nIn this class we will discuss 
 when it is most useful to use meditation as a method of stress reducti
 on, magical practice and journeying for self discovery. We will also e
 xplore the basics of getting into a meditative state, following a guid
 ed meditation and developing a “trigger” to enable yourself to ent
 er a meditative state quickly.\n\nInstructor: Redwolf\nCourse Fee: $15
 \nCourse fee proceeds are going directly to help support the Northern 
 Virginia Pagan Pride Day celebration held on October 2nd this year in 
 Manassas, VA (www.novappd.org).\n\nRedWolf (Jeanet) has followed the P
 agan path since 1993, when she was introduced to Witchcraft by her sis
 ter. While RedWolf’s practice is mostly eclectic, her focus is on Sh
 amanic Witchcraft and American Folk Magic. She has extensively studied
  magical herbalism, aromatherapy, and the use of stones and crystals f
 or ritual work and personal transformation. She has taught workshops o
 n a variety of practical magic topics, and for the last 6 years, has a
 lso led public rituals for several local Pagan groups.\nRedWolf has be
 en a member of the Circle Sanctuary community since 1996, and is curre
 ntly enrolled in Circle’s Minister Training Program, which is led by
  its founder, Selena Fox. She is one of the founders of the Northern V
 irginia Pagan Network. She also co-owns The Pagan Peddler, an online P
 agan ritual supply business she operates with her husband Dave and her
