Tarot Basics Workshop

Are you interested in learning about tarot? Do you have a deck but no idea how to use it? Come join us and learn some tarot basics so that you can feel comfortable picking up and using your cards. 

We'll cover topics like choosing and caring for your tarot deck, as well as common tarot practices, tarot history, the structure of the deck, reading for oneself and reading for others. 

If you have a deck you are more than welcome to bring it. I would also recommend bringing something to take notes, as there's a substantial amount of information to get through! 

Class fee $15

Instructor: Darjeeling has been studying tarot since 2011. She came to it in a rather roundabout fashion; her original interest was Jungian mandala creation and interpretation for self-analysis. The transition to tarot came naturally when she began looking for a tool that was more dynamic, responding to questions and operation on a more moment by moment basis. 
The more that Darjeeling worked with the tarot, the more she realized that this was an open-ended tool with the capability to help people not only reflect on how to move forward in life, but how to get to know themselves better as well. Teaching others about and through tarot is something that she enjoys a lot and has felt called to for a long time.
