Here are the recipes I promised you for fun Summer Drinks:  

Sekanjabin

Dissolve 4 cups sugar in 2 1/2 cups of water; when it comes to a boil add 1 cup wine vinegar. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add a handful of mint, remove from fire, let cool. Dilute the resulting syrup to taste with ice water (5 to 10 parts water to 1 part syrup). The syrup stores without refrigeration.

Raspberry Shrub:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 pints raspberries
2 cups white wine vinegar

In a saucepan, whisk sugar and water together at a boil. Reduce heat for a few minutes, then add raspberries, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. Add vinegar and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Strain, cool, and bottle. Keep refrigerated.  Serve by adding on part syrup to 5 to 10 parts water.  Any fruit and any vinegar can be used.  You can also make blends of different fruits or herbs like Blackberry Sage or Cherry Vanilla.

Wear your sunglasses!!! LOL This Witchy Wednesday is Summer Fun (With Herbs) Night! We will be making some herbal ice tea and a few different summery essentials to help you enjoy your summer!

Please bring a 4 oz spray bottle if you have one!
