What a Life!

Today is my birthday and I usually ponder on my life as a birthday draws near. Have you ever looked at yourself in wonder at living on the Earth for as long as you have? And what you have done along the way?

The tapestry of my life is rich in colour and texture with lots of different special materials, sequins and tiny mirrors that reflect, and good strong silver thread that sews it all together. And you, dear friend, are also a part of my wonderful tapestry, just as I have already become a part of yours. We are connected.

I have welcomed new family members and said tearful goodbyes when it was their time to move on. I have worked for many decades and even owned my own business. I have traveled the world far and wide and lived in some exotic places. Have gathered some absolutely wonderful and beautiful friends along my journey - some stay and some move on. I still treasure each and every experience, even the not so pleasant, because there is always something to learn from them.

What defines me? Everything and yet nothing. I am unique, just like you. I live, I love, I laugh and pray. I hurt, I'm a bitch, I am arrorgant and moody. I am classy and gracious and a snob to boot! Love charddonay and a really good book. I'm witty and funny, intelligent and more. I am an Australian!

Today is my birthday and I am feeling quite good about myself and my Life!
