Midsummer Ritual - Firefly NOVA

Come out to Sticks & Stones in Fairfax, VA to celebrate the Summer Solstice, and join us for a Midsummer Ritual at 4pm. We will be set up in the back meeting area of the store, and the ritual itself should last 20-30 minutes or so. If you've never been to Sticks & Stones, come out a little early to shop around!

Midsummer is the most fertile time of year, where the Sun is at its peak, and marks the beginning of Summer. This is the longest day of the year, and we celebrate the weather and bounty that is growing to sustain us. The Summer Solstice is the height of the light time of the year, and we rejoice fo r the blessings that blossomed in the Spring as we turn the wheel to Summer. As a celebration for the waxing part of the year, this is a time of letting go of things that no longer serve, and creating room for growth and change within our lives.

Clean-up: 5:00pm

Donations are accepted to cover the cost of supplies, use of the ritual space, etc. Please feel free to donate as you are able to, with no pressure or expectation to do so. There will be a donation box to make a discreet donation at your convenience.
