Event Description

Dowsing is an ancient skill that goes back millennia; etchings on 4,000-year-old temple walls show pharaohs holding devices resembling dowsing tools, and the Cairo Museum has ceramic pendulums which were removed from thousand-year old tombs. The French call it Radiesthesia, the Italians call it Rhabdomancy, and Americans have commonly called it Doodlebugging or Water Witching.

Regardless of what you call it, dowsing is a fascinating way to connect and receive guidance from the Higher Self, find lost items, and a host of other applications.  This class is the first of three part series on dowsing.

Learn the basics of pendulum dowsing and how to ask questions. Dowsing can take your metaphysical journey to new paths of adventure and knowledge.

Bring a pendulum if you have one. Some pendulums will be available for use during class and others will be available for purchase.

Instructor: MiMi Walks & Laughs with Feathers

Course Fee: $35

MiMi Walks & Laughs with Feathers is a Usui Reiki Master, a dowser, Shamanic student and Ordained Minister of the Ministry of Light Interfaith Church in Manassas, VA; and an Ordained Priestess in the Order of Melchizedek, Sanctuary of the Beloved, an incorporated nondenominational church in New York.  She is a member of the Circle of the Blessed Moon; a board member of the Ministry of Light Interfaith Church; and a member of the American Society of Dowsers. Leaving behind a varied career in public relations and journalism, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, and program management, she now pursues her passion for metaphysics and learning the many paths that lead to One.  A student of metaphysics since her late 20s, she draws on her Native American (Cherokee and Seminole) heritage, Shamanic training and Siddha Yoga meditation studies to teach others and fulfill her quest to live an authentic life uniting Mind, Heart, Body & Spirit.
